The Second Session of the Fifty-Second Synod will meet from 11am on Friday 26 October 2018 until 5pm on Saturday 27 October 2018.

There will be no session on Friday evening with the prayers concluding the business of the day at 5pm.
The Synod Eucharist will be on the Saturday morning at 9.30am.

All of the Synod sessions will be at the Cathedral.

Special Address to the Synod
Robert Fitzgerald AM, a former Commissioner for the Royal Commission into Child Sexual Abuse, will be addressing the Synod on Friday 26 October.

During the Synod there will be two conference sessions. One session will consider “The role of people who are not members of the Anglican Church in church decision-making and governance”. The other session will consider “Mandatory retirement ages for clergy”. These two sessions will inform policy-making within the Diocese.

There will be no pre-Synod meetings this year.
