The Anglican Diocese of Newcastle is building safe churches to ensure church is safe for all to attend.
All people working with children or youth in ministry, including all clergy, are required to complete Safe Ministry Training. If you are unfamiliar with the processes of mandatory reporting you are also encouraged to complete Mandatory Reporting Training.
Safe Ministry Training
Our preferred Safe Ministry Training provider is SMR eTraining.
The SMR Anglican Safe Ministry Induction eTraining course is available on the OpenLearning training platform and can be accessed here.
The cost is $30 per person.
