All Saints Anglican Church in New Lambton has been turned on its head as part of a recent renovation.

When you next enter the church, you may notice a significant change in the configuration of the space as it has been fully rotated.

The renovation saw a complete flip of the front and back of the building to make the building more accessible and create larger community spaces and a bigger foyer.

To unveil the renovation, All Saints Church hosted a community open day and family day last month.

Neighbours and friends filled the church and found a warm and friendly community within the walls.

Four congregations united to discover the joy in this project, and the open day provided an opportunity for this collaboration to be celebrated in unity and grace.

The community participated in a number of activities using Christmas as a guide.

Christmas children’s craft

History honoured

Renovation mini tours

IQ carols quiz

Story of Christmas play

Trash or treasure?

Music

A competition to enter

Sausage sizzle

Accompanied by the A-to-Z Christmas play, the Christmas story was performed to ground the community in the festive season that is upon us.

In addition to the local community, a number of couples who had been married in the church also visited to see the renovations and reminisce.

It was a joy to watch the church come to life to serve the community.

The parish community looks forward to creating more opportunities in the new year.
