Retired Friends Club, Kotara South Recognised in 2017 Centre for Volunteering awards

The Retired Friends Club of Kotara South were recently recognised in the 2017 Centre for Volunteering Awards. Beverley Heap, Valerie Roach, and Sandra Astley received a Certificate of Recognition in the Volunteer Team of the Year category  presented by Councillor Wayne Bedggood, Mayor of the Upper Hunter Shire Council at the 2017 Central Coast Volunteer Awards presentation  in September. The CEO of the local Volunteer Centre made a special point of speaking to them after learning of the achievements of the Retired Friends program over the 41 years.
