An Evening of Celebrations at Anglican Care
A wonderful event was held at Bulahdelah Bowling Club last week to celebrate the joining of Great Lakes Aged Care and Anglican Care. The function also celebrated the significant impact Great Lakes Aged Care has had on the local community and recognised those people that have played an important part in the history of this service which is now called Cedar Wharf Lodge.

The Parish of Cardiff celebrated with a Mass & Meal night this week.
The Parish of Stroud celebrated with warden and organist Daphne Dobbin on her last Sunday with the parish before relocating to Sydney.

Happenings at Maitland
Little helpers at the Eucharist this week, plus the Parish of Maitland held their first MumsNext night. They discussed ways of having those tricky conversations with our kids as they become aware of drug use and sex, and different ways of supporting them to make wise choices for themselves. Glennis guided the group in making adorable little Post-It notebooks.
Wallsend Winter Fair
The Parish of Wallsend attended the Wallsend Winter Fair on the weekend and gave out these fantastic free prayer boxes. Plus the kids from the Sunbeams playgroup show us their beautiful paintings.
Parish of Terrigal
Several years ago, the Parish of Terrigal decided to become a single-centre parish and consolidate its various properties. The last centre to close was St George’s Matcham. Bishop Peter performed the secularisation (deconsecration) ceremony on Thursday 10th August with the Archdeacon, Fr Rod Bower, and a small group of parishioners.
Combined Service at Woy Woy
The Parish of Woy Woy held a combined service at St Andrew’s, Umina on the July 30.
