High Tea at Wyong
The ladies of St James Wyong hosted a Women’s High Tea for over 100 local women from different churches, denominations, friends and family, on Saturday 3 June. Guest speaker, the Chaplain of Wyong High School, Lesley Burdon explained the joys and sorrows of chaplaincy. Over $1300 was raised to support this ministry of the Wyong District Christian Education Association.

Some delightful Year 10 students from Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College assisted with the Christ Church Cathedral bicentennial celebrations. Students were involved in hospitality service on the BBQ and tea and coffee stand and they did a fantastic job welcoming visitors and helping the volunteers.

St Paul’s celebrated Pentecost with a church decorated with balloons to represent the Holy Spirit. Bishop Peter led the service and then all shared morning tea together.

A lot of fun was had last week with a trip to putt putt golf for the teenage youth group Apis Te.
Barney’s Pentecost
A great Barney’s Service with a Pentecost theme. The youth made flaming head bands, Pentecost spinners and paper planes. They also shared some cake after a pizza to celebrate 2 years of Barney’s Services. Time sure flies when you are having fun 🙂
