Ms Paula Trood
Executive Director Education and Child Development
Paula has worked in the community, aged care and disability sectors for 30 years. With a background in nursing, Paula’s experiences have been diverse—from Chief Operating Officer, Regional Manager, and Executive Manager Residential Services and Quality & Compliance, to her current role at the Newcastle Anglican as Executive Director of People Care.
Paula has extensive knowledge of aged care, community and health care services, leadership, business transformation, quality systems, governance, strategy development and implementation, and risk and crisis management, which will help to support and shape Newcastle Anglican’s strategic vision.
As the Executive Director of People Care, Paula leads a passionate and dedicated team responsible for residential aged care, community care, the NDIS, and allied health.
She holds a Graduate Diploma in Health and Medical Law and a Master’s degree in Health Services Management.
