Mr Luke Hughes
Executive Director Quality and Risk
Luke has a diverse background in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors in Australia and overseas.
He has dedicated his work in human services to ensuring people lead dignified lives marked by opportunities for personal enrichment. He is a change agent who has reformed service models and integrated organisations in a disability-services sector disrupted by the NDIS.
Luke’s executive-level experience incorporates governance, risk and compliance, policy, and project management.
Prior to moving to the not-for-profit sector, Luke negotiated with international counterparts and advised on World Trade Organization policy issues for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He supported Australian businesses’ entry to export markets and managed corporate operations for the Australian Trade Commission in Canada. Luke also embedded scalability and accountability when designing systems and processes for a marketing services start-up in the UK.
Luke holds a Bachelor of Finance, Master of Social Change and Development, and a Graduate Certificate in Business. He is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors’ course and is working towards a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management.
