The final Regional Meetings took place last week, seeing Bishop Peter visit the Central Coast, Maitland-Paterson and Newcastle regions.
The Central Coast region came together on Tuesday 17 April at the Wyong Parish, and the Maitland-Paterson region congregated at the Parish of Raymond Terrace on Wednesday 18 April.
The final meeting was held at New Lambton Parish on Thursday 19 April.
“My prayer and my vision for the Diocese is that we will flourish by grace. There are, across the Diocese, some wonderful green shoots of creative change. It is a delight to see clergy and people re-energise existing ministries and embrace new opportunities,” Bishop Peter said.
“Thank you to all who have been involved in coordinating and attending the Regional Meetings.”
“It has been good to pray and reflect together on the critical issues facing the Diocese as we respond to God’s call to mission and ministry.”
At the meeting Bishop Peter presented the Anglican Church Newcastle Strategic Directions and Work Plan 2018 – 2021.
