Our beautiful little country church ’St John the Baptist Reedy Creek’, (part of the Singleton Parish) has no electricity and on cold winter Sunday mornings, we often find ourselves scrambling for the closest seat to the window to feel the warmth of the winter sun.
On Sunday morning on the 5th June, when the East Coast Low was finding its way down the coast, it was so dark, raining and cold at Reedy Creek.
This photo was taken at our morning prayer service and our lovely readers did everything by torch and candle light. It made for a beautiful morning with a whole heap of atmosphere and a special time to give thanks for this day and for the rain.
