Last week Samaritans raised the flag for White Ribbon at their head office in Warabrook.
White Ribbon Day was held on Saturday November 25 to recognise the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Samaritans is committed to STAND UP and SPEAK OUT against violence.
Samaritans staff also attended the White Ribbon breakfast in Newcastle on Friday morning. They paid tribute to the 44 Australian women who have lost their lives this year because of domestic violence.
