Each Diocese in the Australian Church has a unique set of laws which apply to it and which come from laws in their state, law passed by the General Synod which has been adopted in the Diocese and law passed by that Diocese in the form of Ordinances.

On these pages you will find the Ordinances for the Diocese of Newcastle. The Canons of General Synod are found on the General Synod website. The Diocesan Office is in the process of updating the ordinance format. Some ordinances are presented in the old format.
