On Sunday 13 August the Parish of Cardiff held a special farewell service to give thanks for the ministry of Canon Katherine Bowyer.
Sunday was Canon Katherine’s last day at the Parish of Cardiff, where she has been parish priest for four and half years.
Following the service, the parish came together for a morning tea to celebrate with Canon Katherine.
“We will continue to pray for her as she prepares to begin her new ministry as the 16th Dean of Newcastle in October.”
Canon Katherine was elected to be the next Dean of Newcastle in June and will be commissioned at Christ Church Cathedral on October 4 2017.
