The Parish of Branxton Greta Lochinvar establised a #loudfence at the entrance of their church on August 21 to symbolise their support for the victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.
The first loud fence was established in Ballarat in 2015 – as a visual sign of support for victims of child sexual abuse.
In light of the Royal Commission taking place (still) in the Newcastle Diocese, the parish decided to create a loud fence of ribbons at the entrance to St John the Divine.
“All of our parishioners gladly tied a bright coloured ribbon to the rail…to symbolise our support for the victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.”
