The Ordinations to the Diaconate and the Priesthood were held at Christ Church Cathedral on Saturday December 9, 2017.
A full congregation came together to celebrate the Holy Eucharist as the Rev’d Michael Marklew, the Rev’d Amanda Brockwell, the Rev’d Helen Quinn, the Rev’d Greg Colby and the Rev’d Melinda McMahon were ordained to the priesthood and John Quilter was made deacon.
The Rev’d Dr John Angert Quilter will serve as Deacon Assistant in the Cathedral Parish.
The Rev’d Amanda Brockwell will serve in supporting ministry in the Parish of Dungog.
The Rev’d Greg Colby will serve in stipendary ministry in the Parish of Belmont North and Redhead.
The Rev’d Melinda McMahon will serve in stipendary ministry at Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College.
The Rev’d Michael Marklew will serve in stipendary ministry in the Parish of Stockton.
The Rev’d Helen Quinn will serve in self supporting ministry in the Parish of Forster-Tuncurry.
