Throughout October, St James’ Church, Morpeth focused on mental health for Mental Health Month.
The parish used special readings from scripture that expressed anxiety, depression, and what we can do to help people who suffer these conditions.
An order of service that focused on healing and acceptance was used, and they concluded the month with a BBQ and ice cream sundaes, in which all shared their thoughts and feelings on what they heard during the previous weeks.
“It was a great way to conclude what had been a challenging and hopeful 3 weeks.”
