What a great day All Saint’s, Singleton had for Messy Lent on Sunday!

The Messy Church group explored Lent through making crosses, learning a Smartie Prayer, making Blessings Jars, making Playdough Prayers, putting together “Lent in a Bag”, filling a Sorry Bin and colouring in including a prayer chatterbox.

They then heard a story about Jesus being in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights. They also shared a delicious pasta meal finished by hot cross buns.

“We had the longest queue for dinner we’ve ever had with over 70 people! Thank you to everyone for coming and to all those who helped out. What a great day!”
