A four day Festival in Newcastle during May 17-20, 2018. Exploring Justice, Spirituality, Music and Art for the Common Good.
Set in the beautiful and edgy steel and coal town turned activism hub of Newcastle, this festival now in its second year, will provide a unique conversation around justice, climate change, spirituality, music and art. This conversation seeks to find ways to work for the common good, where diverse communities reclaim the future in hopeful and creative ways.
Keynote speakers:
- Dr Anne Elvey – poet & eco-feminist theologian.
- Dr Di Rayson – theologian.
- Dr Byron Smith – climate change ethicist.
- Dr Mick Pope – meteorologist & climate justice advocate.
- Tau’alofa Anga’aelangi – Justice advocate, originally from Tonga.
And many more! Young film-makers are also invited to submit a short film of up to four minutes that addresses the subject of social justice that will be apart of the INSPIRACY Festival.
