The Parish of Maitland have donated a huge amount of toys and gifts to the Samaritans Christmas appeal, delivering the gifts to the Samaritans office early last week. What a fantastic effort!This generosity is the just the thing Samaritans need to bring smiles to many faces on Christmas Day.
This year, Samaritans is anticipating an increased demand for Christmas assistance. Samaritans will rely even further on the generosity of the local community to provide gifts and ask that you give generously.
“Samaritans also have a large demand for gifts in November, so the earlier you can donate a gift, the more ways they can effectively distribute them in our region,” a spokesperson said.
