The Blue Cross Community Care program run by Saint John’s Anglican Church in Taree has been superbly and generously supported by so many Manning Valley Anglican College (MVAC) families during the year. MVAC Principal Mr Darren Parks was able to present many, many overflowing baskets of tinned foods and non-perishables to Mrs Beryl Fenwick on Friday.
Mrs Fenwick, who was on the inaugural MVAC Council when the school was launched in 2003, serves as a church warden (i.e., lay leader) of the Anglican Parish of Taree and was deeply thankful for MVAC’s provision of so many food items. The parish uses these food items and other non- perishables to help people across the Mid North Coast region who are struggling economically.
