Treasurers to continue to provide monthly updates
An essential feature of Jobkeeper is the role of the Australian Taxation Office in monitoring eligibility. Treasurers will be required to provide evidence each month of the parishes finances to the Diocesan Office. This will be reviewed to ensure that the Diocese remains eligible for the scheme. The Diocese will be in a position to respond to any ATO queries or audit.
Glen Cousins, our CFO, will be in touch with Parish Council Treasurers directly when this reporting is due.
