18 March – Number 3

Dear colleagues,

  • Making churches available for private prayer

Where we can, we should enable churches to be open for private prayer.

In order to do this, we need to rope off the majority of the church and remove or limit all furniture in that space. We should anticipate that people will stand to pray.

This should only take place if the parish is confident that a person is available each day to clean the open area with disinfectant and wipe down any surface.

Each church should have signage encouraging people to remain 2 metres part from other people.

If it is possible to play sacred music, please do so.
