On Tuesday November 8, Rev’d Michelle Hazel Jawhary and 12 of the Cessnock Parishioners attended the Cessnock Chamber of Commerce White Ribbon Breakfast.
Seven of the parish’s men stood alongside other men at the breakfast and pledged the White Ribbon Oath.
Attendance at the breakfast falls in line with the motion passed at Synod 2015 encouraging parishes to get alongside services in their local community.
