Parish of Bulahdelah & Tea Gardens Sunrise Service on Easter Day

On a glorious Easter Sunday morning about 100 people gathered at Hawks Nest beach to celebrate the Risen Christ.  Holiday makers joined local Christians for a service of Holy Communion as the sun rose over the ocean. Preaching on the theme He is not here, He is risen, Rev’d Denis Kirkaldy reminded people of the question of the angels at the tomb – “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” and encouraged them to walk daily with the risen saviour.  This service continues a tradition of dawn services at Easter which St. Andrews Tea Gardens have been holding for 40 years.
