The members of the Bishop Nomination Board are working along well together. We meet most weeks, aware of the responsibility to do its work as well as we can on behalf of the Synod.
Since we last reported nominations have been received from those who have prayerfully agreed to consent to nomination, and the Board has asked this group of nominees for further information.
At our last meeting we also endorsed the material from our working group on the selection criteria – based on the consultation materials and reports – and associated questions.
We appreciate the prayers as an essential part of this work… and for the Board and Synod as it works together to discern God’s call for our next bishop.
