Confirmations at Taree
On the 10th November 2019 at St John’s Anglican Church, Taree five candidates were confirmed by Bishop Peter and the Cook family were welcomed as communicants of the Anglican Church of Australia. Bishop Peter also blessed Fr Peter’s RSL Chaplains’ stole and Fr Peter and Fiona on the occasion of their Wedding Anniversary. We were most grateful to Bishop Peter for travelling to Taree in the midst of major bushfires in the area.
Singleton Commissioning Service
The Reverend Canon Michelle Hazel-Jawhary was commissioned Rector of the Parish of Singleton on Monday 18 November.
St Luke’s Wallsend Goes Solar
St Luke’s Wallsend has installed 64 solar panels on their hall complex. Generating enough power to cover parish use and return power to the grid.
