Locks Shaved to Raise Funds

Monicah Njoroge-Eaton from the Parish of Wallsend shaved her hair off for the World’s Greatest Shave for the Leukaemia Foundation this week. She raised $2,000 in doing so! The lovely ladies from Anglican Women also served a Devonshire Tea.

Easter Egg Hunt at Scone Grammar School

This week the Year 1 students at Scone Grammar School teamed up with their older buddies, armed and dangerous with their hand made egg baskets, ready to carry all the loot! So much fun for a Tuesday!

Anglican Care Celebrate Harmony Day

Anglican Care’s Bishop Tyrrell Place was a sea of orange to celebrate the diversity in our ageing community on National Harmony Day last week. With such a diverse mix of residents across the organisation including those from European, Asian and Indigenous cultures, Anglican Care celebrated all that makes their residents the wonderfully unique people they are. Bishop Tyrrell Place celebrations kicked off with the Biripi Aboriginal Aged Care joining for a morning tea, followed by entertainment, an Italian Lunch and guest speakers throughout the day who discussed cultural issues.

Anglican Care Farewells Continue

The final farewell for John and Ellen Kilpatrick took place at Kilpatrick Court Cafe last week. It was a lovely, relaxed celebration with great food and wonderful company.

Fashion at Maitland
