More than 250 people from across Newcastle Diocese filled St John the Evangelist Church at Raymond Terrace on October 16 to give thanks for the ministry of Fr Chris Yates, and to say farewell to Fr Chris, Rachel, and their three children.
The Yates family are moving back to England, where Fr Chris will be Vicar of St Saviour’s, Eastbourne in the Diocese of Chichester.
